What it means to be ‘Successful’

What have you been successful in this past year, 2019?  It could be in school, in sports, in church, a big or small achievement.  Explain how and why you were successful and what it meant to you.

In the past year I think I have been successful at being a good friend, being a good friend to me means being loyal in a friendship and never being too busy. Also to me friendship is dropping everything for them when an important event or something important comes up, also never choosing anyone or anything over them because their family. 

*This year I would like to be more successful in my classes and get more credits in my classes.

What Community means?

Yesterday our focus was what does community mean to me. I was in a group with Trinity, Jasmyne and myself. We all gathered our own perspectives on what we thought community meant. 

Made in Taiwan DLO

 In the past two weeks our focus for social studies have  been on my DLO called Made in Taiwan, we watched   videos and wrote down notes from the videos. In the video there were two guys named Nathan & Oscar who had travelled around different islands to find out where there clan parents came from.  
The thing that really interested me about the video was what they had studied like the Lapita patterns because some of the patterns that had been found were designs we use today for cultural tattoos.
