ReplyDeleteI hope that you are having a great holiday so far. I have been having an awesome time blogging with students from Panmure Bridge School who are part of the Summer Learning Journey programme. The Summer Learning Journey is a blogging programme for Year 4-8 students from our Manaiakalani cluster schools who want to learn about the food, languages, customs and traditions of people living in various countries around the world. It's really fun!
Everyone who participates in the programme gets a certificate and a badge for their blog site. You will also earn points for every blog that you post and the students with the most points from PBS will earn prizes!
To participate, simply hop onto the Summer Learning Journey website (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/welcome), click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab and choose fro one of 60 different activities.
Once you have chosen an activity that you want to do, you have to post your answer to the activity on your blog. I will check your blog and I will write comments on your posts! I also have other teachers who are working with me and they will also read your posts and provide comments.
I really hope that you will consider blogging with us this holiday. We'd love to have you join the team!
Cheers,
Rachel (and the Summer Learning Journey programme team)
